We have undertaken a five-year partnership with Macquarie University, UTS and five Greater Western Sydney high schools to deliver a literacy-focused program which seeks to expand students’ educational opportunities.
Fostering futures
Imagined Futures is the literacy-focused program delivered to students in Years 7, 8 and 9 at participating Consortium schools. We have worked collaboratively with teachers, researchers and universities to develop a program that encourages students to imagine their future educational possibilities.
Researching for change
Over the course of five years, researchers from each university will follow students' participation throughout the program to understand how students see their futures and whether our program impacts the possibilities they imagine for themselves.
